As an advocate for mental health awareness, Cat has shared her own experiences through speaking platforms such as TEDx and The Human Library Organization. She is the Director of Worth Living USA at worthliving.co, a global initiative that allows people to contribute to the conversation on mental illness through their writings, podcasts, music, and artwork. She has also published articles on iam1in4.com, selfgrowth.com, mental-health.alltop.com, and her blog highrisk1.wordpress.com. Cat aspires to publish a memoir about her time navigating two psychiatric facilities at only 19 years old before being diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She hopes to educate the public about the signs and symptoms of bipolar disorder and advocate for the research of mental illnesses, which she believes will inevitably lead to more correct diagnoses.

You write well, and it’s surprising considering the chaos at times. I’m in the know about bipolar (2). You’ve described it concisely. We have to sacrifice a lot, but it’s worth it to be well.
